Avie had her 6 month check-up yesterday. She turned 6 months this past Saturday. The doctor said she looked great and was moving up on the height and weight charts. As of yesterday she weighed 18.6 pounds and was 27 3/4 inches long. I told the doctor that I had taken her off of her acid reflux medication since I had changed to soy formula. At first she looked at me strange, then she said "well ok, if she is doing well with out it then just stop". Avie has a birthmark on the back of her head. Its a big red mark, the doctor called it a "stork bite". She said it will probably go away by the time she is 5 years old. We don't go back until Feb. 23rd. Thank God for a healthy baby! (P. S.
