Happy Thanksgiving

The next 2 pictures are what we made for the grandparents for Thanksgiving. The turkey prints are Avie's hands. We stole the idea from Beth Loomis. She made t-shirts for Parker's grandmas. Thanks for the idea Beth... you are so creative :)

Scarey Thanksgiving instead of Happy Thanksgiving! This is Ryan, my brother, dressed up as a pilgrim woman; however I think that my Aunt Debbie grabbed the witch wig instead of the pilgrim wig! hahaha!

6 month pictures

Avie turned 6 months old on November 22. Doesn't she look so different from when she was born?!
Too funny! Don't they look like twins?

6 month check-up

Avie had her 6 month check-up yesterday. She turned 6 months this past Saturday. The doctor said she looked great and was moving up on the height and weight charts. As of yesterday she weighed 18.6 pounds and was 27 3/4 inches long. I told the doctor that I had taken her off of her acid reflux medication since I had changed to soy formula. At first she looked at me strange, then she said "well ok, if she is doing well with out it then just stop". Avie has a birthmark on the back of her head. Its a big red mark, the doctor called it a "stork bite". She said it will probably go away by the time she is 5 years old. We don't go back until Feb. 23rd. Thank God for a healthy baby! (P. S. I will post new pictures soon)

We have TEETH!

Avie has finally cut her first two bottom teeth! The one on the left came in a few days before the one on the right, but thank goodness they are both in... well most of the way :) I am attempting to get a picture of the teeth, but everytime I try to get her to open her mouth and show them to the camera, she sticks out her tongue. I will keep trying! I can't believe my baby has teeth.... time does go by so fast.

Playdate with Parker, Emma, and Sam

Today was the first "playdate". We were at the Loomis' house with Parker, Emma and Sam. The babies mostly played by themselves, but the mom's had a great time talking! I think it was more for us than them hahah! Parker was into taking toys and touching the girls.... lock up your daughters!

Me and my new tub

These are some pictures of Avie in her new tub. She loves the tub because it has a toy on the side. We hate the tub because it has a toy on the side and now when we take her out she screams because she is mad! She out grew her other one, she was way too long to lay down in it, her feet were all smushed at the bottom.
