Isn't this totally awesome?! No, it isn't real, although looks like it could be! Jeanne McKenzie did this for me with one of Avie's one year old pictures. Isn't it stinkin cute/amazing/adorable/cool?! Looks like the real thing if you ask me. THANKS JEANNE! Maybe you could get a job in cover design since you are retired now! LOL

Avie had her one year pictures taken this morning. I took her back to the lady who did her newborn pictures (which we loved). She is from Holmesville and I heard about her from my student teacher from last year, Emily. Her pictures are not posted as of yet (obviously), but will be on her blog in a few days and we will be able to view all of them within a week or so via the website listed below. Anyways, all of you momma's out there should really check out her website http://www.alloccasionphotos.net/ she does an AMAZING job and is very very reasonable. Her name is Martha and she takes the pictures right in her home.

Parker Loomis

Today we celebrated Avie's first birthday party! We had the party at Mom and Dad's house and even though it rained we had a WONDERFUL time! We also had some surpise visitors, my aunts (dad's sisters) drove clear here from West Virginia to surpise us for Avie's day! We were so excited and surprised, it was so nice to see them :) Jamie, my roommate from college and her boyfriend, Drew, also came to visit us from Cleveland. Lindsey also made her way here from Columbus. We did not get to visit with Miss Gracie bug though, she is feeling under the weather and running a temp. Avie loved playing with Parker and she also got to see her newest friend Lily. It was such a wonderful evening! Thank you to all of you who came to share in Avie's first birthday, we truely cherish the time and memories we are making.
By the pictures you may think it was Christmas for Avington, but it was just her birthday. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for all of Avie's gifts! We are both overwhelmed and so thankful for your kindness, thoughtfulness, and love that you give to our family. We definatley do not deserve it. Gifts or no gifts, we would have still had a wonderful day just being with our family and friends. We appreciate all that you have done for us!!

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day Mommies :)
We had a great mother's day in the Wright household. I woke up this morning to 2 cards and a present. Anytime there is a G.A. Fisher's bag, its bound to be good. Inside I found 2 new charms for my bracelette (sp?), one from Avie that says #1MOM and a really pretty orange vintage looking one from Charlie.

At 2:00 we are headed with both sets of grandparents and Uncle Ryan to Texas Roadhouse in New Phila. We are going in "Wright Style"... yes you guessed it.... we are taking the motor home so we can all ride together! I will hopefully have pictures :) Go ahead and say it.... what rednecks! LOL

Duck and other Random Pics

Here are just some random pics from the past week. We borrowed this duck from Parker Loomis for my nephew's baby shower. Avie has always loved ducks, so this was right up her alley. She just points at it and says "duck duck", actually now she points at everything and says "duck". She is so funny and has quite a little personality.
